Simon Kirby has welcomed new figures showing 1,355 fewer people in Brighton Kemptown and Peacehaven claiming Jobseeker’s Allowance compared to 2010 - a 52% per cent drop. This means more people in work, with the security of a job and a regular pay packet.

Simon Kirby, the Member of Parliament for Brighton Kemptown and Peacehaven, has welcomed new figures showing 250 new apprenticeships were started by people in Brighton and Peacehaven between August 2014 and January 2015. In total 2960 new apprenticeships have been started in the area since 2010.
